If you install DVD Region X on it... get it from www.play.com ... go to the USA site.
Also try getting a DVD hack from the site i posted above... the hacks only work on less expensive players, not Sony's etc...
Maybe buy a DivX Player from amazon.com

And the best part is you have to have a special video card to view the damn thing because of the pixel count

And... to work with a PC requires an adapter... £50+

Still wont work it has to be NTSC format BOT PAL
check the manufacturers website: http://us.codejunkies.com/shop/product.asp?c=US&cr=USD&cs=$&r=0&l=1&ProdID=3
you have to understand that PAL and NTSC don't just go between eachother in the US you can't use PAL equipment together

I just have a 20" sony Trinitron since LCD's suck for Gaming and I have the room for it. I have an ATI 9600 Pro for Graphics card but for some reason when I got the monitor it came with one of those adapters that go both ways PC-to-Mac and vise versa it's in a drawer somewhere I don't use the thing.

I am sure there are much better ways with better software but with the old software I know this is how I would do it.
Smart Ripper to rip the DVD into vobs
DVD2AVI load the vobs into this and save as a d2v project.
TMPEG load the d2v project into this and select the NTSC DVD template after encoding you should end up with an NTSC MPEG2 compatible file.
Spruce Up (or any one of the many authoring programes) load your MPEG2 file into this and make some menu screens if you like.
Burn to a DVD-R to make your NTSC shoot out DVD.
I might give it a go later to see if it will work. If you have a DVD burner I could even upload the image file for you to burn your own disc directly without having to go through any of the above.

Just as a note there is a frame rate difference between NTSC and PAL so the audio will need to be re-synced as well.

True... films run shorter in the US than in the UK... or is it the otherway around .... exactly the same film, just slightly different speeds... wierd.
BTW - As lamboman you are 43 years old, yet as Jabba you are 33... so come on, which is it
You don't have to tell me... a lot of 40+ people i konow don't like to disclose their age (joking, i really do understand that some people may find this offensive... i am just fucking around )
