Great car!
The original Mini was for both my mum and dad their first car and for years we had several as a second car for my mum. They're such fun!

No i wouldn't want to hurt my baby!! i'm trying to get it in pretty much perfect condition, if i ever was going to do any sort of motorsport i would buy an old race/ rally car as they are worth significantly less to most people once they have been raced/ abused mine only has 35,000 miles on the clock and i want to keep it in good condition for the long motorway journeys between uni and home

They fit trust me or it wouldn't drive or steer!!!
Don't really understand what your asking the wheels are standard 12 inch size, if you fit 13 inch ones to my car you have to reprofile the arches and as for 14 inch they are even more difficult to fit. BTW the earlier minis had 10 inch wheels!!
Though alloys are next on my list i'm gonna keep them the same size for ease of fitment

hehe. I used to love Minis. I still like them, but I don't love them anymore. Yours is very clean indeed. Nice job with the tasteful mods!

I'm gonna get some minilite alloys probably this summer they're about £300 including tyres so not to bad. The problem is with bigger wheel/ tyre combos are that they tend to rub on hard lock meaning you need to take material off or just remember not to turn to full lock Also 13+ inch wheels tend to screw up the handling if not set up properly and you should really uprate the suspension to cope with the extra weight. At this point its all getting a bit expensive and time consuming so i decided to stay with the same size wheels and maybe lower the car to improve the looks. Though i don't want to make the ride any harsher than it is currently!!
