Due to various privacy reasons, I have disable file browsing so the users can't see what is on the server. Only the user that uploads the file would know the link to his file.

I think you may have missed the point. heheeh....LOL... Many people need a hosting place to keep their pictures. After that, they link those pictures to many of the website or forums to share them with other people.
What I provide here is just a free hosting to keep the pictures, not a full photo album sharing service. You have to keep track of your own files and the links to them.

Their own privary issue is not a call for me to make. Just look at it this way.....If they want you to see their pictures, they will post the links to them. It is up to them who they want to share their pictures with. Simple as that.

Hey Tuan, I just uploaded a magazine scan and then posted to JW, but no one can see the pictures and Fishfreek said that the host (freepixhosting) can't hotlink pics.
Am i doing something wrong?!?!
