I think they are kind of rare, because I don't think Dolorean built to many before he got pinched trafficing coke.

common....delorean....those cars are ugly as hell....but they are rare....they are like a nissan sentra with gullwings, so i would consider the styling "rare" not the car, ive seen a lot ...

Deloreans are rare.
Production numbers.

1981: 6640 cars total marketed
82: Approx 1280 cars total
83: Approx 1250 cars total
total of about 9,200 DeLoreans

That is pretty rare when you take into account the number of cars that had to be totaled in wrecks or otherwise.

Yes, Isdera is fine, very small number but well made.
The "true" Jota doesn't exist anymore. It was a oneoff and died burned.

Yes, but also the replicas, the "official" and accurate ones by Lamborghini were just a few

Haha, by calling the DeLorean rare, my car is certainly more rare than that. Mitsubishi only brought in a total of 3000 Galant VR4's from 1991-1992 with 2000 in 1991 and 1000 in 1992. So by the rationale of calling the DeLorean rare my Galant VR4 has 300% the rarity value when compared to a DeLorean.

I reckon the old GT40 race cars are rare(like original specs)I think there is like 30 left in the world.
There plenty of VR4 Galants in Australia...They where the rally weapon back in the late 80s early 90s.Rarer car is the VL Tom Walkinshaw V8 Commodore. There is like 500 made, least 100 where for racing, and others for the street. Not many left.

And what about the Cizeta V16 T. It had a V16 engine in transverse position. It had 520 bhp but weighted 1750 kg. Six were produced and Claudio Zampolli, the guy who produced it is to make 6 more in California.

How about the British Engineering Edonis. I think there were only 16 made.

And what about the McLaren M6GT ? Only 3 or 4 were produced in 1969.
It had a V8 engine with around 370 bhp but the engine was an option up to the owner.
