That's quite a popular haircut in the USA mate, and I'll remind you that his opinion is shared with most of the World's motoring journalists. He loves to hate 911s but they're still much better than Corvettes and that sir, is a fact.

I think that JC focusses his approach on the masses and not the car entusiasts like 5th Gear (to a lesser extent recently though), and evo magazine do. Tiff and Jason, Harris & Metcalfe are way better imo .

WTF are smoking? Kevin Keagan hairdos are popular in the US? Talk about clutching for insults.

And you are still on this ignorant "911'sare better than Corvettes" rant- after almost a decade its getting old "mate".

Model for model Corvette and 911 have been matched wheel to wheel since day 1.

Witness stock and race comparisons year on year for equivalent models.

Fuck this ignorant "US cars suck" routine is so played out - one would think you would have given it a rest by now.

Actually, Corvettes were faster to begin with. There was a period in the mid 70's to mid 80's where Porsches were faster. Then the B2K option was available, and for Porsche Turbo money, you had a factory optioned turbo Corvette that would trounce any 911

For god's sake. Why do you never see corvettes on the road here? Even though they are cheaper than Porsches? Because they don't work darling, they're no good.

Thanks.

Actually, model equivalent the 911 was no faster than the equivalent Corvette. The stock base 911 coupe was just as slow and crappy in the mid 70's as the Vette was.

All US spec sports cars where.

Sure, they are no good.

Total crap.

I guess the fact that they outlap every year equivalent 911 around the Ring means they are crap.

Sure.

I think the term for your condition is "hater"

Jesus, how many times, nurburgring lap times do not tell you how good a car is to drive just as the amount of g-force a car can create in a corner doesn't tell you about handling.

Actually, according to the 2011 24 Hours of LeMans, that is most certainly not a fact.

I just met some of the biggest Corvette fans/lovers/owners in the world... from Switzerland. They love their Chevrolet's more than anybody else I've met.
