Those are some quite nasty bastards...... That 540i is so mean and sounds so great. The only thing to complain about is that blue light under the car at that show. Thats just bad taste......
Are there 1/4 mile time on any of them?

Here is a short story of the supercharged 540is on the dragstrip.
:arrow: Managed to get four 1/4 mile runs today at Tullinge Raceway (Stockholm) a event arranged by the Swedish magazine Bilsport, best result of the day was 12.92/113 mph, I also did 12.94/118 mph and a 12.98/116 mph run. 60-foot times was steady around 2.4 seconds (NOT impressive), the 255/35-19" Dunlop R-tyres I tried this time was better than my Yokahama AVS set - but still 19" is simply not the way to go on the strip.....It might be a driver issue also....

Update on the supercharged bmw 540 is 650+bhp
Well the spec for next phase is ready and parts are being manufactured and ordered around the Globe, Basically Stage V is a Twin Superchager setup based on two Danish Rotrex HCB30/94's - they can together produce air for at least 1000hp, but the goal is for the "first release" to produce around 650hp, with a secondary target set on 750hp, for this to be accomplished a "new" steel sleeved block will be built, and using Pauter Rods, TRW pistons and more goodies.
Hmm i wonder much traction the have with 650 + bhp and rear wheel drive.
Maby the need to fit all wheel drive.

Those Supercharged BMW E46 M3 CSL & 540i are incredible machine. It's rare to see side pipes on E46 m3, and I really like the 19" M3 rims on this 540i.

It has also good handling for such a heavy car.
Maby the need strip some weight of it the stock car weights in at 1735 kg many some 700 kg less.
And make a racecar for the road.
Stats with stripped weight:
0-100 km/h 3,5 sec
0-200 km/h 10 sec
topspeed 360 km/h
200-0km/h 65 meters.
Kick some supercar ass!!
If it whas my car 1235 kg with 750 bhp!!
i love that nascar sound of the engine.

Do you mean on the csl the 540 has no stickers.
I think the stickers are for show.
I have found some stats of the 540 is.
Almost as fast as a mercedes mclaren slr!! :x

Shit the sidepipes are fake on the bmw m3 csl.
I think the supercharged 540is is faster than the e60 m5 round the nordschleife.
And has more top end power for better topspeed on the straights then the new m5.
It will kill the m5.
