Damn, those paypals fees and UK conversions are killer. From 20 US dollars down to 9.70. WOW!

I know what you mean. I had $13.54 or something left in my account and figured I couldnt do anything else with it so ill just send that. Didnt know it was gonna drop that much with the fees and all.

Are we having a deadline Jab or just hoping that all posting members suddenly perk up and get their wallets out at some point?

Well I was going to set a target of say £1,000 and then make a post on piston heads saying that is how much we raised for the charity which they helped to set up.

Sadly I think that figure is just a dream though, so how about we make it £500...what does everyone else think ??

It should be on about £200 already if the postal/bank transfer donations arrive this week.

Sounds good.

The odd thing is, when we have donation months for JW, we get a lot of response even if people cannot / are not going to donate.

But this thread seems suprisingly empty so far!

Well I guess people get alot back from JW, and they want the service to continue, so they dont mind parting with a few bucks, someone who pays £1.99 a month says its the best money he currently spends in terms of being good value.

The helicopter fund is of course much more important, but then again they do already have over £150,000.
