Default Air Induction Kit

Does anyone have on installed?

I was wondering about some competition air filters to my car and the told that the Air induction kit from Pipercross was really good and better.

What do you have to say about it?
Should I put it instead of a competition air filter?

And this one?

But i will use it much times in off-road, dunno if there are any special kits for off-road, but i'll try to know.

Probably i'll get a filter from K&N and if it gets dirt, i'll clean it, easy =)

I'll put a snorkel there too, i think that won't be too much dirty instead of getting the down =)

A question... Do this filters or induction kits bring a noticeable improvement in the engine performance?
Or are they only for a better sound and look?

I've been reading that they don't make anything.

depends as always how u have them set up. If u just replace the standard filter box wiv an open cone set up then the heat soak will b terrible and u dont gain anything, and the drivability actually goes down!!! Just sounds really gud!!
That happened to me, so i fashioned a heat shield all round the cone, wiv a nice direct air feel to my lower front grill.
It now pulls like a train, and sounds beutifull!!
