I generally like daring looking cars but i cant be sure for this one at the time being. The front of the car is fine and the bumpers, front and rear as well as the side skirts add some aggressiveness into the cars looks but the rear doesn't convince me. The CL due to its size, especially now with the funny looking extended wheel arches definitely needs big wheels and the ones depicted here don't fill them nicely. What i certainly like is the fact that the B pillars are missing again and although it might affect the torsional stiffness it looks the part. I also don't like the roundness of the rear window.

Umm. . . it seems like they have taken a step back in the design department. I am surprised that they didn't reuse the S Class Headlights when they reused the Taillights. I see that they used the same exaggerated fender flarers.

Of course I never really liked the old one either. . .

I gotta admit it looks better in those last pics posted by Wielblad, still the rear end looks like crap, way too soft. That thing will never get even close to the current one.

Those new photos do make it look better...

...but the back, especially the rear windshield (is that what you call it?) is just so wrong.

I would've given my left nut for a car that had this front end, 2 doors, and the CLS's rear.
