M3 cabriolet, yeah, one of my friends (in some of the pics)

I dunno that I would agree they are :wanker: cars though, that's a bit harsh :x

There were 3 of us travelling to the show, I have an S2000, my other mate has a Boxster, and the M3 (my other buddy's car) was of course the car we took as the other two are only 2 seaters

They call it a 'bra'

It is to protect the front of the car from stone chips...I think they look a bit gay, personally I find that by leaving a safe distance* from the car in front you avoid rock chips anyway.

*everyone drives up eachothers ass here  (this happens in France also so you probably know what I mean, or maybe it's just because I have only driven UK-registered cars in France and it happened to me a lot because most French don't really care for the Brits being in their way on the roads )

okay... but that is such frustrating to see something like that on a car as a C06... really, it's definitely awful...

3M (peopel that make post-it notes) make clear bras which is like a layer of see-thru plastic, they look ok, you can hardly tell they are fitted as it's like putting a clear sticker on the car.

The France comment wasn't meant to offend, by the way!

I can safelly say that no matter how far you travel from the guy in front, you'll get chips. Besides, you will never drive slower than a truck so you've lost in that situation. I tried driving as far as I could from everyone, and reduced speed while overtaking slow cars so that I wouldnt get chips, its just inevitable. Only way would be a "clear bra" which is a clear tape that goes over the front of your car.

^ yeah, I think that's a fair statement, you can guarantee MORE chips by driving up other peoples butts though!

well, it could be because of the bad quality of you're roads...

i mean, i'd never seen it before, in any country of europa... italia, germany, england, spain, switzerland....... no bra on the cars... it's crazy, this thing have a really restricted distribution area... crazy ^^

and it's better for us, we can shot beautiful cars with no bra on the front.... ^^
