And over here (and in all of Europe) it is called the Subaru legacy as far as I know.

yeah the Legacy in Aussie Land went out a few years ago and this came in. but the thing that pisses me off is that this isnt coming to America cuz i love teh Legacy 2.5 GT's

i can go to my local subie dealer, and snap shots of at least 2 legacy GT's right now... i dont know if its in canada, but definately in USA

^^^ it's the called the Legacy in Canada too, but we don't have any STi tuned versions.

oh, i seemed to have missed the 'STi' badging there, we only have the turbo'd 2.5... not the 300ish hp version; i guess if it sells well enough it will make tis way over here

they call it liberty here because legacy is an organisation that cares for ex-service people. so subaru australia respected that and changed it.
theres only a couple hundred being made. by the end of the motorshow, they'll be all snapped up by customers.

legacy B4 liberty or liberty B4 legacy; either way it is a nice looking, somewhat conservative subaru design, much better balanced in terms of front to rear proportions than impreza, too bad it does not get the full STi treatment here in US, what a sleeper would that be ...
