Uhm - in many countires it does. The UK apparently being one of those.. as with Germany
Face it - the Radical is not a "road car" but rather a street legal race car.

Face it - the Radical is not a "road car" but rather a street legal race car. |
Yeh its not terribly hard to meet the SVA test requirements, but still a slightly different radical could be a blast as a weekend car, not saying this is the one you'd use onroad, but i'm pretty sure the majority of cars tested there aren't ideally set up for road work. Its a great achievement from a relatively small company of talented people, lets not take it away from them

Oh - not taking anything away from them - just being realistic - the "road trim global market street legal version" needs to be run to put it in the same light as the M3 and F-cars and stock P-cars (and Vette )...

As long as people don't drive their Radicals all the way from the UK to the Nürburgring to do some laps, this figure is solely interesting for the stats.
Don't get all hung up on the discussion though, enjoy the video and the car for what it is: a very impressive piece of kit lapping the most beautiful track on earth at an astounding pace. Works for me...

exactly.. it always makes me laugh that they market such cars as road legal / road version etc, because they are useless on the road.. as soon as you come to a sleeping policeman (speed bump) you're screwed - therefore the vehicle is not capable of doing the job its been represented as

Anyway, you can also turn it around. Isn't it ridiculous that local authorities can litter the cities with obstacles that can't be negotiated with a car that has been approved by a national government service? That isn't just the case with cars like the Radical or the XT, but with lots of Ferraris, Lamborghinis, Porsches etc as well.
