Which is a pity - because the X1\9 in all stock forms for the entire world was a dog slow pathetic unreliable hunk of crap... and if it wasn't for the aftermarket and racing series providing some decent substitutes and upgrades it would have died a deserved death a lot earlier.
In stock form, you had to be a unique sucker for punishment to volunteer to own one of them
I cringe to think of the couple of mates that bought those after highschool and were saddled with a car that sucked..
plain and simple.
The ones who persevered upgraded the running gear and engine and eventually ended up wth a half-decent car.
Spend anytime around some X1\9 fanatics you learn to recognise the car from modded source as the blokes in the know seldom leave the cars stock - they suck that badly
