My 1986 Toyota Supra

Hey all, thought I'd share my car. First off, here's the verification pic: (linked because it's HUGE for detail)

Anyways, this is my 1986 Toyota Supra. I paid $1400 for it in March of this year. It's rare because very few MkII supras were built for 1986. The color's not original, and although the color itself is gorgeous, the previous owner had a crappy shop do it, as it's uneven and needs to be wet sanded very badly...and then he screwed it up by scraping the car in all sorts of places.




I'm kind of embarassed to post pics of the interior, because it's currently in the process of being redone and it desperately needs new carpet...but what the hell.



As for the engine, it could use a rebuild (it has some oil leaks, and it likes to burn a quart every 3 weeks too). I'm guessing it makes around 180 crank horsepower with the mods? (I'm shooting for 225 when I do the rebuild)...kind of pathetic for a straight six, but whatever.

That's the gen of Supra I like.

It used to by the name Celica Supra Turbo where I come from.

In ot's day it was a the kick-ass 6 cylinder on the block.
