Looked at the Mercedes CLS today at the dealer...

Well, i also took place in a CLS500 recently, and i must say i was quite pleased. I agree with you on the rear seating position overall (horrible headroom indeed...), but the front is IMO absolutely gorgeous! Maby it had a special interieur package or something (price was around 80.000 € if i recall correctly) but all that wood and the plastic that actually was covered with true leather made me feel that i was sitting in a luxury car! Great! Alright, it has some drawbacks (rear headroom) but outside looks and the interieur (especially the front) are awesome!
The only Merc that looks better at the moment is the SL IMO.

not for defending BMW... I just cant find the same quality as the old merc.. like lots of merc fans do..

in case o reliability... you cna see what I think in the other thread.. but Merc stiill seems missing some points..
