Update 2: Apparently my car was found by New Orleans police on December 26 in New Orleans They have told me that the steering column is damaged and the undercarriage. I'll post pics of the car when I get to see it.

Awesome DETLTU! Hopefully the didn't mess up the undercarrige too much. Good thing you had full coverage  how come it took so long for the cops to tell you they found your car though?

Aparently the plates were not on the car when they found it. Also the New Orleans police department found the car and I reported the theft to Jefferson Parish Sheriffs office. I still have not seen the car because it is being held for evidence but I will post pics soon hopefully.

well, at least the worrying is over. you know your car didn't get shipped across the border or to a local chop shop  now you need to get some personalized plates for it that say "lstnfnd"

I have now seen the car. The damage does not appear to be to bad. they did however paint my centercaps red on my wheels along with the grill on my SS hood and the front grill (Very poor job of it I might ad.) I will post some pics tonight. i like the idea for the plates ZfrkS62.

because donut eating policemen don't "see" that car. If your car's description says it's all black with no red paint... they would skip that car
now that ass-paint job only said:"here's a car we don't care for, maybe it's stolen"
