Default Want to see those moving sigs!

Today I logged in at college. And I saw most sigs move. What do I have to download to see them moving at home too?

What? I know my computer does strange things sometimes, but this is very strange.

It's not the connection, because I have ADSL.

I'll check if it's an option in Explorer somewhere. If it's not, damn you Bill Gates for your dodgy software!

This is what the difference between software and hardware is about. You can kick hardware...

Can't find anything in the options list that could be it. I've also just downloaded and installed service pack 1 for explorer, but it still doesn't work.

I hate this. Has anybody got any ideas?

There's a setting in IE to disable animation. Goto Internet Option | Advanced, in the Multimedia section, there's a checkbox to "Show animation in web pages."

^^^^ That's not it either. It was switched on all the time.

I also tried the default settings in case I did something stupid once, but that didn't help.

I cleaned up my system recently by installing everything including Windows all over, so I guess reinstalling Explorer wouldn't change much. I use Windows 2000 by the way. Don't know if that makes a difference...

Time to dig up an old topic...

Today I fiddled a bit with my network settings (to be able to share files with my housemates) and installed a new version of Zonealarm and suddenly I can see the smiley's moving, the sigs and avatars moving and the small globes pulsating!!! I don't know how this could have affected things and frankly I don't want to know. I just wanted to share this weird event with you guys.
