real player files into windows media player??

when I updated my real player, I clicked on the icon that makes all my files into the real player. this shit sucks and now I want my files to be all WMV. how do i do this?

also I tried to change them by changin them to ".wmv" but it still didnt work?

What do you mean? Like real player is your default player now? You can change that setting by going into Windows Media Player's Options menu. Click on the File Types tab and select the type of files you want WMP to open by default.
