I'll keep that in mind next time I go to the model car fair.
@ RC45: I don't know of any 'MCA', but I sure know a lot of people that could use one...

LOL thanks I found some in eBay, but I'd prefer to check them out with my very own eyes

I can understand that, especially when buying second hand. You never know what the side that isn't shown on the photo looks like.

HAHA Indeed! And usually if there is a problem with a model bought at a store, even if you find out at home, you can have it exchanged, especially if they know you a little bit... I missed lot of eBay opportunities for sure, but really I prefer to buy them at "my" store and have a smaller collection than risking every time

Yep, if you're not satisfied with something you bought on eBay, try getting your money back.
Problem with most stores however is that they're too expensive.

It happened a couple of times already (some 300 transactions in ebay so far), but it's pretty hard to get your money back, especially when you are not based in the US... the only time it was really needed though, we succeded
Yes, stores are expensive, but well, even in ebay, for the good ones+shipping costs to Swizterland, the gain would be to slim to be worth

Yes, that's something you have to add to the price. And I don't think the store you go to offers models at ridiculous prices. You pay a lot less for for instance a Minichamps than I would if I bought at a store here.

Just to give a general idea, in €:
Minichamps 1:43 - 30 €
Autoart, Kyosho or IXO 1:43 - 32 €
Autoart, Minichamps, Kyosho 1:18 - 64-68 €

Hmmm... just stick to higher feedback sellers then.
TT - you NEED at least 1 red 1:43 Herpa F40.
