I'll say . . .

It depends on the particular dyno (of course), but assuming that the numbers at the wheels are accurate, if Lexus' claims are to be believed, then it only suffers about 6.6% drivetrain loss for horsepower and 2% for torque. Otherwise, assuming a 15% loss (which is pretty liberal in practice in most cases), the numbers sound like about 606bhp and 407lb-ft. Pretty good performance . . .

Unless I see rear wheel dyno chart, raw numbers, correction factor and corrected number - I take all these dyno pulls for what they are - bench racing bravado.

What are their SAE engine numbers? Have they even submitted their engines for SAE validation?
