The Best Sounding Car Ever!
What is the best sounding car ever?
I'm putting a poll on there, because I have never done it before and I want to try it ... but feel free to post messages with what I forgot to put on there.

where's the Ferrari Enzo? in my opinion that's got a beautiful F1-style scream
makes me shudder just thinking of it...
oh, and the F50 GT1 has an incredible sound as well, it's like a chainsaw combined with every other really loud violent noise you can think of. enough to give you nightmares

well for that poll, um m3 and sl55 amg should not be on it,
well since i like the sound of high rpm, the 360 should b up there, Enzo and CGT,
and my pick well since i havn't heard every engine, my fav is the BMW F1 engine the v-10 screams, and the nearest thing is the CGT, and worst sounding engine, well that must b the Toyota F1 engine it the sound of metal on metal grind and a slight backstreet boys, next time your at an F1 race look out for it

I think you might've forgotten a few choices...the Carrera GT is amazing...the Ferrari Enzo is nearly as wonderful as the Mclaren F1 if not more so...the 360 Modena and Stradale are both amazing as well...and Alfa Romeo's 3.2L V6 is sonorous too...the Ferrari Testarossa is fantastic (the more recent Flat 12's in particular)...the F50 is beautiful, as is the F50 GT1...the Lamborghini Diablo and Murcielago are wonderful as well...and for V8's...the Ford GT is nice, but the 4.6L V8 as used in the Mustang GT and in several smaller manufacturer's cars (i.e. the MG SV, the Invicta S1 etc...) is a better sounding engine to my ears...and perhaps the two most beautiful sounding engines of all time...the Aston Martin V12 as used in the Vanquish and the DB9...and the Ferrari 365 GTB/4 V12.

That can only be a 1954 F1 car: the BRM V16 MK2

As far as road cars go, for me, it's one of three cars: Zonda, Macca F1, or CGT. I love the deep throaty roar of the big V12's in the Zonda and F1. And they do it without sounding stressed. The CGT, however, sounds the most like an F1 car to me. Yes the Enzo and 360 Stradale sound like F1 cars, and they too make great noises, but there's something that the CGT has that the other two don't. Not sure what it is, I just like it better I guess.

From the propositions, i choose the Macca because i'll always remember the first time i saw Tiff accelerates in second on Top Gear.
For pure sound, the F50 with a MS Racing exhaust (Best Motoring 2000 special) or a 355 F1 let me an unforgivable memory.
For race cars i adore the Matra V12, the Mazda 787 and Ferrari V12 (from wich the F50 is derivated) but i never heard the BRM V16

YG60m,
when you have D/L'ed the long version: just put up your headphone, turn up the volume to the max and listen the recording from start 2 finish. Unsurpassed
