Default Bitten by the texas hold'em fever?

A months ago, I was laughing at those people getting hooked on hold'em, playing day and night on the internet and live in real life...

But then, a friend of mine pursuaded me into trying out online poker, and after very little time, I found myself to be one of them I used to make fun of. I'm completely hooked, although I only win once in a while, and I catch myself thinking about poker all the time...

Luckily, for me it's not about the money, only for the fun, so I've just lost about 20 $ in a month, about the same I use on food every day..

Ehh, it was big here in the US a few years ago. Everyone was playing it after ESPN started showing it on TV, everyone from your 8 year old little brother to your 80 year old grandma.

Overrated. . . .

it may have been big a few years ago, but its rediculous now. Once they have the "stars" shows then you know it has gone to far.

i played it a few times with friends whilst having some delicious beverages

that is the only time i think it could be fun... end of story....

oh, and my step-mom's brother makes a-living off of youngsters on hold-em' gambling sites... averages 60g's a year

so... keep yer money if i were to recomend anything, and play 'quarter' hold-em with your friends.

just my 2 cents

I've played hold'em for a year now (on and off). To me it's a really fun game that teaches you allot of things.
