www.ourcolony.net click the high, or low res and download the movie (it's zipped). Lotta detail in there. I think another of the ilovebees sagas is about to unfold .
Pretty awesome machine though and gaming should be spectacular soon.. Any idea when games will be announced?

Wow, looks nice, and the performance and graphics sound like they'll be pretty good as well, especially if you owna hi-def TV.
Do you think the upcomming PS3 will measure up or be any better than this new X-Box 360?

I assume all the old X-box games will work on the new one, that would be retarded if they didn't.
The 360 will sport a custom 500 MHz ATI graphics processor with 10 MB of embedded DRAM. The processor will be able to produce 500 million triangles a second and have a pixel fill rate of 16 gigasamples a second.
The console will also have 512 MB of GDDR3 RAM operating at 700 MHz. The systems overall floating-point performance will be 1 teraflop.
|
I'm kind of confused, it says it's operating at 700MHz and it's supposed to be better than any PC out there, but how does that make sense if PC's are running at 3.4GHz?

that's the bus speed of the RAM not the processor. AFAIK the fastest DDR1 ram is clocked at 400MHz.
have you also heard of the Megahertz myth? AMD's chips are clocked slower but perform faster than Intel chips on a clock per clock basis.

I know they'll be using 2-3 PowerPC G5 processors. Clock speeds will not be faster than 2.7GHz.

Details from MTV.com
http://www.mtv.com/news/articles/150...headlines=true
I know it's MTV but they were the ones who were tapped by MS to debut the 360.
The system has similar storage and memory to a PC, according to Microsoft, with 512 MB of memory (eight times that of the original console) and three 3.2 GHz processors, far more than the single 733 MHz processor of the Xbox. The new system is also equipped with a 20 GB detachable hard drive, compared with a non-removable 8 GB drive for its predecessor.
So it appears I'm wrong and I'm impressed that MS was able to get 3.2GHz PPC G5s processors
More detailed specs below

Here's a screen cap of the next Dead or Alive game.

No HD-DVD ROM drive.

Sweet PGR3 is going to have the Mclaren F1 in road car form(LM I think) and Lambos.
The Sagaris is pretty sweet too. Best looking thing for me was Gears of War. GR3 looks cool, but people seem to replacing their pants all over the net because of it an I'm not really sure why.
