eh, its ok but i prefer the regular RX-8, this one looks like something some kid decided to do to his car, the rims dont really match and the body kit doesnt look that good either. what kind of numbers does this have compared to the regular version?

I'm a fan. I generally like the design of the RX8, and i think this improves on it in a few key ways. Honestly tho, i wish there were more hp to back up those looks. (a la gen 3 rx7 turbos, which you could at least tune...)

Mazdaspeed does do engine tuning but is more about refining the chassis dynamiccs for a more aggresive ride. I dont think many companies have come out with any parts that really boost the performance of the renesis. Most people have been focusing on suspension parts.

What's the difference between the old Mazdaspeed and the new ones?
They took out the foglights .
. . . Still waiting for the new RX-7.

It's the engine they need to change, not the body kit.

^^I remember there was a turbo'd version of the RX8, impressive "target" figures for the concept

^ I read somewhere that a supercharged RX8 is in the works. I'm guessing that this Mazdaspeed version isn't it tho.
Findleybeast has the article of it, and maybe he's scanned it. He can also explain better than I can why it's really hard to tune the renesis engine - it has something to do with the side mounted intake and exhaust ports which lead to a "fixed" compression ratio, and thus makes it practically impossible to add a turbocharger.

Aren't they going to save the Turbo for the new RX-7?

A turbo rotary simply means visiting the petrol station more often. Which means you'll have to pop the hood to check the dipstick and add some oil more often than the already silly every two stops that the standard one compels you to do.
If they could fix that simple problem, the RX-8 would be a brilliant car.
