Pretty interesting race,
I dont understand why Sato didnt pull over when his damn Honda was smoking since the start, his demolition caused that pile up down by the harbor . AND WTF happend with Schumi, does anyone have a clue what happened, did he just slow down or did something break causing his left front to lock in the tunnel? All in all a great race, nice to see Trulli capture his first win at Monaco

It was suggested that he was braking to put some heat in his tires....and the section of the tunnel where he locked up was the same area where another driver had bits of rubber come of his tires before a earlier crash.

Oh that was a good race especially towards the end. It was quite intense seeing Button fighting for a first place with Trulli. Great race overall. One of the best for Monaco GP in my opinion.

Have to admit, although it hasnt been mentioned, on the slightly magnified video I saw it looked like Schueys front left suspension broke causing the left wheel to stick out a crazy angle just as he locked up. Bizarre, but it's pretty hard to tell from the grainy video and no one at the Ferrari camp has made any mention of it.
Good to see an exciting end though - much as I love Ferrari and think Shuey is touched by the hand of God, it's great to see that he is also human. Nice to see some variation on the podium. Looking forward to seeing Button's first victory too.

Monte
Best race for along time. Truli/Button was unreal. Did Sato jump the start?
BAR should have pulled him in after 1 lap. Regarding Schuey - what a stupid thing to do. Huge brain fade. The camera showed that he full on locked the brakes and what else could Montoya do. Also - there seems to always be gap between Michael and Rubins, I reckon they are giving more good bits to Schuey and thats why he is lagging behind.
That was a top race - real F1, how it should be.

Yes, it was a great race...I have to admit all the crashes and problems made it very interesting. I was like wow only half the field finished and then the guy on the speed channel said - years ago in monaco only 3 racers finished....crazy course!!

Was busy last week, so cudnt post here. But, what a race...what a track... and what a moment for jarno trulli!!! Amazing stuff. Im a big ferrari and schumi fan, but oh what a race..and i just cant go on abt how much i love that track, and the place..aaa!!
regarding sato's incident, he cudnt really do much i guess..the cars are travelling pretty fast and he pulled over the earliest he cud...but what abt fisichella...slamming on the back on coulthard..hes lucky that the track is so narrow, and theres like barriers so close and his car just got stuck on them. if he did that anywhere else, i reckon he wud have been upside down and in a bit of trouble.
alonso's crash was just stupid...what the hell was he thinking tryin to overtake in the tunnel from the outside.
regarding schumi's crash. and as much as i hate montoya...have to say it was a little fault of schumi's...warming up the brakes in the tunnel, wheres there poor visibility and like he shud have seen in the rear view to see how close montoya was...shudnt have braked so hard.
but it was awesome, and good on jarno, and good on barrichello for making the podium too.>!! awesome...
