Default pc problem???

sometimes when i'm just computering and wanna see a video, i click on it but the video does'nt open. all the videos i've had the problem with are normally working. i try to open another video but they all dont work...
If i restart my computer everything works fine. this problem don't happens much like 6 or 7 times a month. but it's very annoying!

does somebody know to fix it or do i just always have to restart my pc???

Sorry to day but you have to provide pretty specific PC information and the programs you are using etc to help you on this matter..

make sure you dont end programs like svchost in your process manager (may cause sound to stop working, but not video)

also, update, or re-install the drivers on your video card

also, make sure your video codecs are up to date.....

sometimes things get currupted and stop working right

Sometime's these files do act up plus MP3 and sound files, if they do not work you will have to load up media player or the player you use. Then load the video from inside that bud.
