Really sad news, the Dakar doesn't get much coverage in Australia but this is definately in the news today.
Anyone aware of how many other Aussies are in the race, if any?

yester day night i turned on tv and changed channel to eurosport and commenter said " .... after this tragic loss news some stages cancelled". then i loged in to internet and i searched what happened. Then I read that sad news.
RIP Andy Caldecott
It is veery sad news and this is 3rd lost in this rally in two years. Race managers should make some changes in rally rules to stop this accidents.

I think that tomorrow's stage will define the overall classification because of the prohibition to fix cars.
Go Carlos Sousa!
