In the post-Brown era of criminality, he can be charged with assault!

Really? Where does the limit of consent come in? Using a scale of say, assault, manslaughter, murder, and voluntary euthenasia. Considering this was clearly consensual, how would assault charges apply?

R v Brown was a UK case a few years back, where during a drug bust, the police confiscated an old sex tape which involved all sorts of sado-masochistic sexual activity between a consensual 'victim' and a whole bunch of other people. The police charged everyone who was still alive (two or three had died since the video) and they were convicted on the basis that you can't consent to really serious violence and that there's a limit (which is left to the discretion of the jury/judge). The same principle applies in sports cases, where you impliedly consent to violence reasonably expected, but if it's ridiculously gratuitous violence, you can't consent to it.
If we're talking about killing people, using this principle, you can't consent to being killed. Therefore, legalising euthanasia is not something that's consistent with the common law, because euthanasia is basically telling someone to kill you.

turns out Max is a farking wierdo, and we love to hate both Max and Bernie for their proposed rules changes, and domineering play over F1.
More power to getting rid of those arseholes IMHO
