Is that going to be tuned too?
No tuning... I won't mess with what is already a great car. The only thing is a Pioneer satnav with reverse camera, and maybe I'll change to Porsche Big Brake Kit with. And new porsche summer wheels if the big brakes wont fit underneath the old stock ones. 8)
Sounds good!

Man if you want you can really tune those engines up
But if it would have been my car I wouldn't have done it too
you sure can, there are several RS2's running high, 600+ (2,5ltr bore) in Norway. They seme very reliable for such hp ratings as well. I spoke with a danish guy last summer who ran a 585hp kit, and he drove it like he stole it every time, and he had done 80.000kms after the upgrade without any problems
Now that is reliable

hehe, sort of, I'll try to explain,
The A8 is owned by my father, and used by me when I am in Grimstad, if there is work related driving (40.000kms /year) and on long trips, business and pleasure The Q7 is the run around car for the whole family, and we share it for whoever needs it, but it is mostly driven my me and my father for work related things. Those two are in Grimstad, and the RS2 will be in Bergen permanently for short business trips in the area, and the occasional track day (hrrrmm....) and airport back and forth... it's a complicated system, but it has a function

Nice to have the car that started the RS line of cars from Audi! And it looks like a sleeper. Only car enthusiast will know what this car can do

Congrats, Skaala! Very nice car. The RS2 is quite a legend and rightly so. It must be a joy to drive it on the twisties in Norway (just saw the other topic ).

You don't see many Audi 80s anymore, so this was a great moment for capturing the differences between the plain 80 and the one with a Porsche makeover.

One of my female friends commented: "Why would you want a car that looks so normal when it clearly isn't.....?"

my response was that I have always loved Audi's discrete way of styling it's monsters, and (quote wuttputt): "Only car enthusiast will know what this car can do"

Let me tell you congratulation for your new Audi RS2 purchase. I saw on RS6.com a couple months ago that you were in "searching mode" for this legendary Audi/Porsche...and now you got this Quattro GmbH piece of history. You are damn lucky buddy.

Don't hesitate to ask some questions with our friend Brembo, because after having rebuilt his silver RS2, he knows this awesome car at 100% level.

I'm curious to not see a lot of snow on your Norway's pix, perhaps it's like me in Québec we don't received plenty of snow this winter ?

Cheers Nordic mate !

I have sent several e-mails to brembo prior to my purchase. I got a lot of useful info from him, and it helped me a lot on deciding on what car to go for. The winter has been really shitty this year. hardly any sub zero temperatures and a lot of rain...
