Not going to Rome, Amsterdam, Prague, Berlin and Munich
Saved up some money from working at my internships and about to take advantage of my last summer vacation, ever. Past couple years I have been busy working and going to school during the summer, but this year I have 2 months off to travel and have some fun.
The Lady friend and I are planning a trip to Europe in July. Flying from NY to Rome on the 10th, meeting up with a friend and staying for a few days. On the 12th we will fly to Amsterdam for the weekend, then fly back to Rome on the 16th and then spend some more days in Italy.
Not to sure where we should to to next after Italy, although I want to end the trip in Germany because flights back to Italy are cheap from Frankfurt, and our return flight to NY will be from Rome.
I would also like to try to go to Monaco as it is so close to Italy, but I do not think I will be able to afford it.
I will be trying my hardest to rent a car in Germany to take a few laps around the Nurburgring.
Anyone have tips or suggestions where to stay/go in Berlin, Munich and Prague?
I have been trying to plan a Euro trip for the past couple years but plans have never worked out. Hopefully this year I can go as I might not get a chance to take off this much time for a while.
edit: Well after weeks of contemplating and planning my friend realized after paying off some bills that she couldn't afford the trip.

Could you recommend a nice place to stay for cheap? How are the youth hostels there?

no problem to book a hotel here if you let me know the exact date in advance, cheap ones will be about 20-25€ a night for a person.
i dont know this one(just an example) but its right in the center 200m away from one of the main squares of Prague and its not that expensive, no luxury thou http://www.travellers.cz/en/dlouha-p...tel-prague.php

With JW, you never travel alone!
You can stop in Barcelona, Prague, London, Netherlands, Belgium... and you'll always find someone
|
I could go alone, but I really wanted to bring her to Europe and experience everything with her. I even told her I'd pay for her air fair upfront and she could pay me back whenever. Oh well. We're actually planning a trip down to the Florida Keys instead.
But man that is really great to hear that I can always rely on you guys
I might be able to make sometime, but only time well tell. And for one thing, my money in the bank probably will not last long as I am looking to buy a car.
