definitely true, i once got a ticket for skating at CSUN when i was 13!
LOL Ive gotten a few of those in my day too. I think I have more tickets as a result of skateboarding than I do from driving.

We used to just skate away from the cops

The majority of cops I've run into have been absolute dicks. One or two have been decent policemen doing their job, not harassing people.

I hate to pull out the race card, but we all know from Rodney King, your color does matter when it comes to some Police.

Czech police? looks like they're looking for the way to fine you on whatever they find on your car (and mostly they take a well care to find something) instead of "teaching" drivers...

I think that has also to with the fact that the UK police are better payed than their Czech colleagues.

Anyway, Belgium police are one of the best payed, if not the best payed policeforce in the world. They are fairly honest and doing their job, but that is partially we have an organization named the P-comité wich you can call imediatly if you are treated bad, they will investigate and keep an eye on the officers that misbehave.

The Las Vegas Metro PD is respected. They have a tough job, especially sine our city is promoted to be the place you go to to do the things you wouldn't do in your own city. They're not polite, very up-front but they're not unfair. In fact, they let a lot of minor infractions slide. They only really tackle major offenses.

The highway patrol, on the other hand, are nothing but bullies. NV HP sucks.

Maybe I should try that one day: "Go away, constable! I'm a law student and I know shit that you don't!".

^ Yeah well it was kinda funny He asked my name and where I lived, and I said I knew he didn't need to know that, so a very anoying conversation followed. He kept on asking where I lived, so I got tired of him and said "over there", and replying with "but why do you need to know that, you don't know if I actually do live there". Well that shut him up for the first time. And then (we were carrying a crate of beer, half of it was filled with empty bottles, the other half was still full) he said he could already prosecute me. So I got interested and asked him what he could prosecute me for. Well, now he was just making a fool out of himself: "Well you can't carry that beercrate on the streets like that, it has to be carried in a closed space, like in a car or something". So now he really got me going, and I said "So that means that I can only buy beer when I'm driving?". The man wished me a pleasant evening

/\/\ Wouldn't want my police to don't know the law LOL

I was out with my mates on New Years Eve and we were walking in the town centre with a beer going to see the firework display. We bumped into some policeofficers who said that it was illegal to drink on the street, we said ''Come on its new years eve, lighten up man'' We all got a fine of 40 Euros and the best wishes :fist:

^ Yep, and he got lucky they didn't fine him for being drunk in public (don't know if you were drunk TGNL), because that'd be another ticket

Yeah Mattk, thats Holland for you..

Over here you can legally smoke a joint while f*cking a 16 year old schoolgirl, but can be sent to prison without charges/court for doing 120 MPH..

^^ Very good TGNL But anyway, yeah over here the government is pretty 'loose' when it comes to drugs, but very 'tightened' when it comes to other crimes. But we don't send people to jail for doing 120 mph, without a public plaintiff looking at the case..

/\/\ Ive seen people been arrested and sent to jail for doing 120 MPH on a road where you could do only 50, thats because there is no fine for that...
