Xbox360
Well i am in the market for a new TV and i am looking for something cheap yet be able to really run a 480p, 720p or 1080p. what TVs are out there for around 300 dollars (if possible) that are 20 in. or bigger? name brand doesn't matter and type of TV doesn't matter either (CRT, LCD, Plasma, etc).

Refurbished Westinghouse 27" HD-Ready Widescreen LCD TV w/DVI for $350
eCOST.com has the factory-refurbished Westinghouse 27" HD-Ready Widescreen LCD Television, model no. LTV-27w2, for $349.99. With about $23 for shipping, that's about half the price of our last mention of a new one. Features include a 16:9 aspect ratio, 1280x720 native resolution, 600:1 contrast ratio, 550 cd/m2 brightness, 16ms response time, and DVI, VGA, component, and S-Video inputs. New Google Checkout users can get another $10 off.

You are not gonna find a TV that is around 20" that will run 1080p. I think the current smallest TV that runs 1080p is a 37".

No no no, don't get EDTV, it will be worthless. EDTV is good for DVDs but if you want anything like Blu-Ray or HD-DVD, it will be worthless.
Also check out other online retailer like TigerDirect and what not too. You might also want to wait until after CES happening in Las Vegas right now, lots of new stuff coming out. And if you don't mind waiting a month or so, wait until after the SuperBowl and pick up a return or refurb, you could often find some really good deals there too.

Shit man. Then you should probably just get refurbished or used off Ebay.
