i was losing hair at your age too. i've tried everything under the sun. just let it go. you'll be spending more time worrying and stressing. it'll be like most men thinking is their dick not big enough and then end up not enjoying sex.
however keep using those shampoos and stuff, just to slow down the process. you could also try changing your diet.

Research has proven that women find bald men very sexy, so thats one optimistic reason.
The only downside is that it doesn't fit everyone, what I mean whith this is if you don't have a round head and rather more like an egg, it looks ridicolous.
So try it out and see what happens. Its your hair so its your decision

I know the feeling Z. Over the past year or so I have noticed a significant loss of hair at my temples. Ive got a widows peak thing goin on now. Not only that, but im finding gray hairs now too. On the plus side, the hair on my back is starting to grow nicely
Its weird, I used to have blond, really blond and really curly hair. When I started swimming competitively, I shaved my whole body and for a little while, my head too. After about 6-8 months of no hair, I let it grow back and it was brown and straight My brother said a similar thing happened to his hair after he shaved his head, so I dont know.
Anyway, I too love my girl to rub her fingers through my hair so I am kinda in the same boat you are thinking about my options.

Going bald is not a bad option for those with the right head shape for it. Otherwise, there is nothing particularly wrong with receding hairlines. It's not like you're disfigured. $4000 is too much for a procedure that is not going to have a mind-blowing effect.

I would say to start keeping your hair shorter. There's nothing more pathetic than a man with a comb-over :S
