Here's what happened to the 360 Spider you've seen in the movie after a tyre blow-up.

I didn't hear it in the video, but I do know who owns the cars. The owner was the man in the video driving the Enzo and F40. He was on tv once, letting a Dutch car show host drive his Enzo at Zandvoort. What his relation is to the guys who shot the videos, I don't know.

http://www.davies.nl/ferrari/home.shtml This is the site of the guys who made the video. There are more videos on it.

There's a discussion on another forum about these videos and I read a statement by the driver where he claims he wasn't speeding at the time of the accident, it was wet and one of the rear tyres, that were due for replacement, suddenly blew up. He lost control and hit a lamp post. He also claims witnesses can corroborate this. He said the owner took it lightly when he phoned him to tell him what had happened The car was repaired.

The young guy driving those beauties in this vid works for the owner if I'm not mistaken.

Well, an article in De Telegraaf and a topic on it in Editie NL and on SBS6 is not really "all over the news". Not exactly quality journalism and the ones who make the headlines. But anyway, I saw it too. It's funny, because the video is six months old. I've read enough about it on various forums now to know that the information in the media wasn't exactly accurate as well.

Have you looked in the Autoweek forum, where these guys first posted about the videos? LOL All hell broke loose there because nu.nl linked to the AW forum and a bunch of ignorant, politically correct wankers who probably hadn't even seen the video came over to flame them. Yesterday, the Ferrari network site was down as well. Whether that's due to a huge demand for the videos or not, I don't know.

Nice post... What was that crazy mechanical sound in the Enzo? Not the falling spanner or tow pin or whatever it was. The driver looked like he shat himself and even pulled over to inspect... ?

If I understood correctly, I think it was the ride height adjuster.

Ah, and thanks for the video!
