Its funny to think that the BA has been out for 3 years now, seems like only yesterday it was launched.
Lucky it was the step forward from the AU that ford wanted it to be, otherwise ford australia might be in BIG trouble by now!

Why do Australians like Subaru Impreza so much... A friend of mine visited Australia last year and he said Subaru Impreza is every where..

Because they are good! They are fast and give good performance for the money. Imprezas are popular in many countries.

becuase its the only easily accecssible "turboed 4 banger with awd"
sure there are evo's but they had to be imported, which is a hassle. only the 6 and 8 were sold through dealers but they came in small batches and were sold out before they even reached here. another thing the 6 was sold for 90kAUD whilst the sti was 60kAUD (both including on road costs). so with the extra 30k you could make your sti a lot quicker.

Very interesting selections of vehicles. I must highly agree with the WRX, Accord, Oddesy, and festiva choices, but I was supprised by most of the rest.
