Default Frightning F1 Moments

Frightning was when when Jos Verstappen in 1994 in Hockenheim went for a pitstop and the men manning the Fuelhose spillt the Petrol and the whole thing just light up in flames :shock:

recent one: Monaco when Sato's engine decided to cover the backside of the circuit in smoke and Fisichella went flying over the top of Coulthard to land upside down on the rails. Or how about Austrailia in '01 when JV got airborne and his tire killed a marshal? I remember Interlagos' end being quite frightening last year as well.

I cant recall any partciular frightening moment but yes I was worried when Sato crashed - I thought it would cause a massive pile-up - fortunately Fisi was unhurt.

In F1 everything happens so fast that it is over before you have a chance to get frightened

yeah, but the race ending wreck in Brazil last year took awhile to unfold. I really got scared when i saw Firman heading for the tire in the middle of the track. If i can find the video i'll try and post it.

start of the belgian GP in spa 1998. that pile up took more than half of the grid. it showed us the advancements in safety that not a single driver got injured.
