Yep - cable - and undertand that's the effective throughput to this PC - and right now we have games being played, files being downloaded to other PC's - a web site being hosted all on the same network connection - and still get those speeds...

p.s. - not the most accurate tool though...

13600 Kbps - You 13600 kbps
20400 Kbps - You 20400 kbps
10200 Kbps - You 10200 kbps
13161.3 Kbps - You 13161.3 kbps
1406.9 Kbps - You 1406.9 kbps
13600 Kbps - You 13600 kbps
1095.3 Kbps - You 1095.3 kbps
18545.5 Kbps - You 18545.5 kbps
17662.3 Kbps - You 17662.3 kbps
22666.7 Kbps - You 22666.7 kbps
19336.5 Kbps - You 19336.5 kbps
24000 Kbps - You 24000 kbps

www.dslreports.com is better
there is a speed test which is much more accurate. The only problem is that it is now almos always busy.

These bandwidth test things are a load of crap. I've tested several of them, both at home (3Mbit DSL) and at work (100Mbit ethernet...no, really), and they never come close.

They basically measure the speed of the slowest link between you and the testing server, which isn't a big help. With probably 5-15 routers in the middle, it'll almost never be as fast as your connection can handle. Also, their servers are testing how many other people at the same time as you? 10? 100? And you're probably doing other things with your machine too. And there could be other people on your network segment. Etc. etc.

Besides, the whole point of those things is to lead you to advertisements for more bandwidth, right?
