Actually they did - they were all over GM/Delphi to get the hardware needed for the Magna Ride.. and understand GM was working with Brembo since 2005 on the brakes for the ZR1...
Whoaa..... isnt that the same time frame as the FXX development cycle???
If anything, Nissan are late to the party - and why should they e over charging GT-R owners for the brakes? The brakes cost $20,000 per corner when sold for the FXX, but only cost $4,000 per corner when sold for the ZR1.. seems like
somebody is getting ripped off

And stock aggressive C5 Z06 pads were good for 60-0 in 112ft - 2000 as a 2001 model
