Its basicly the same as a motec or simular, it seems like there are alot of simular things here.... Well, if out of the box - boe stock - as delivered from the dealer - your Audi allows custom fuel mapping, ignition timing, rev limiter, torque management and other things to be adjusted and tuned to the nth degree - then yes. The motronic is basicly a stand alone ecu, like motec, autronic and simular so yes....they dont call it vorsprung durch technik just for fun, and the motronic alowed one to do this since the early 90`s....

I did no knew that buth most factory ecu's are pretty limted in what they can do.
This where a stand alone ecu comes in.
