Do you remember when i posted a thread talking about one friend who sank in a rivercross his Jeep Wrangler TJ Sport during a night-offroad route ??? The snorkel wasnt installed succesfully, and the water entered the motor.... He sold it and he bought a Rubicon from germany, 6 speeds. Well its now here but he has already made new modifications, so its not serial
4.0L Power Tech I-6 engine produces a healthy 190 horsepower at 4,600 RPM with 235 pounds-feet of torque at 3,200 RPM. Nearly 85 percent of torque is available at idle, which helps with compression braking when decending steep hills. ARB air lockers, ARB defense, Ramsey Winch. Various Hella, Rancho 9000 suspension, bigger tires and rims ( BFG MT )
Safary Snorkel, steering shock absorber and more i dont remember... ( almost 70 % of accesories are from the old Wrangler TJ). Next modification in summer: Kit Rubicon Express +10 cm !!! ROCKCRAWLING !!!
with his little bro hehehe
This was his old Wrangler TJ. RIP.
My friend Alvaro who has a Kia Sportage 3doors has broken it !!! Cant repair it and hes about to buy a Suzuky Jimny, its small than the Kia but it has less fuel consumption and better offroad aptitudes. Will modificate it for offroad for sure!!! Will tell you the finish of this story when i know it!!!
A photo of the Kia ( the worst 4x4route ive ever made, we were alone and stuked in that mud hole... it didnt seem to be so deep or weak, and just when he get the front part in the mud, it suddenly sank... LOL... didnt have trees to tie a rope and the mud was too wek for the steel grills ( dont know the correct word and only found this translation Iron or grill or griddle LOL) after 3 hours digging, a Patrol appeared and saved us !!!
PS II: Im still with my getz... :x
