^^ It does make the A8 (the one without the new grille mind you) look all the much more handsome actually. Even the XJR (with the bodykit) looks miles better than this.
If only BMW showed the 5-series with the M bodykit as the launch car for BMW's new design direction, maybe people would have accepted the whole approach better. It is really unfortunate that BMW chose such an unappealing design to promote their new design language to the world.
I mean c'mon... new 5 with M bodykit -slash- M5? Great (except in maroon. ugh). 6 series - slash - M6? Great, depending on the colour (red is just so wrong on that car). Z4? See 6 series. 1 series? 50:50... interesting... but not spectacular or memorable. New 3? Finally, a great design again.
7? Argh. REDESIGN THE WHOLE BLOODY THING ALREADY DAMMIT!
