Default Montreal GP - Schumi wins for record 7th time

Today, Michael becomes the only 7 time winner in the history of Formula One for any given circuit. Before this race he was on equal six victories with Senna (@ Monaco).

Another feather in his (loaded) cap!

Good to see the two Ferraris dice with each other. I hoped that Rubens would somehow overtake Michaal just for the fun for it!

Other highlights for those of you who missed the race:
- Both McLarens finish with Kimi coming in 7th despite 5 pitstops (2 more than anyone else - reason: malfunctioning electrics necessitated steering wheel replacement twice and also drive-thru penalty for crossing white line on exit)

- Fisico finished a fine 6th having adopted the same two stop strategy as the Ferraris

- Rubens and Michael were equally fast today trading fastest laps. Rubens got the fastest in the end 1:13.622 v/s 1:13.630 for Schumi

- Ralf drove a faultless race to finish second. His qualification effort was stunning - he was 0.8 secs faster than Montoya while carrying 2 laps of extra fuel. I hope he can keep this performance up.

- Jarno Trulli was out of the race within a couple of metres after the start with driveshaft failures - they suspect that the car launched off the grid hard enough to crack something. Alonso also pulled off the track on lap 45 for the same reasons. Pity - he was driving well till then

- Another engine failure for the luckless Sato. Button's engine survived safely to the end

- Christian Klien seemed to drive a dodgem car instead of an F1 car today - he kept banging some car or the other throughout the race. Made an ass of himself
