cornering trouble with karts
I feel stupid asking this but I need some adivce on this one. I went to this kart track last Sunday and I was struggling at a particular corner. I seem to be the only one with power-on oversteer problem there. While others are taking it flat out, my rear would keep stepping out. I'd either slide and lose time and max speed down the straight or slow down and lose time down the straight.
I've got guys who weigh 20 kgs more than me overtaking me on the straight. I'd be catching them up everwhere else on the track but lose out on that particular corner. No one else have to brake at the entry of the corner but I'm the only one who has to dab on the brake a little to stop sliding. Tried different karts and still the same.
Is being too light causing my back to lose grip? Any thoughts? The oval shape is the approx size of a kart. Thanks
