Default JW Live For Speed League

Ok. Who seriously wants to join a JW Live For Speed League?

For those who do not know about LFS:

LFS Is a great online race simulator. It has cars of various classes with FWD, AWD, RWD, N/A, Turbo Charged, it is great fun and Im sure you'll find a car that suits you best. You can race online even on 56k, this sim has great netcode. If you dont not have it you can buy it online. What you do is download the game, then you have to pay 12pounds with a credit card, you are given an unlock key and you are ready to go.

So who already has LFS? And wants to join?

This could be great fun guys. We can also form a JW racing team and race other teams in LFS. It would be great. Dan can provide us with an LFS server and we can have weekly league races.

Anybody?

I could yes but there are already a couple of sticky ones here and sometime i think sticky are less noticed when they are more than one

First let's see how it goes w/o help i'm sure it won't fall to much

I tried playing that game, but i suck. I used the mouse to steer. Is it better to use the keyboard? I wish I wouldnt suck so much. I would buy a comp steering wheel and pedals for sure.

Can you guys give me some tips? as to which car to choose how to make things work?

Do you guys use the clutch? I always switched gears without it, it seemed faster for some reason...

I could use the clutch but I have left it to do it for me so far, as for buying a wheel its the best thing you can do for a driving game

as for tips d/l some good k/b setups, I guess that might help, and avoid the high powered rwd cars until you have a wheel

I'm in !

But also have work (much overtime this time of the year) and family, so my 'schedule' is kinda crammed.

I see you are in Canada SFDMALEX, I'm in Norway, so big time difference, its 01:34 here, so have to take that in to consideration. I'm calling it a night now, so I'll check back here tomorrow. Between here and Portugal only one hour difference.

Let this thread go on for a little. If there are at least 6 people then it would be ok.
