interesting....
I'd have been curious as to what that car's 0-60, and 1/4 times would've been separate from the japanese car...

This one seems to be spot on for 480 horsepower at the flywheel. It wouldn't surprise me if the Nissan test cars were just warmed over ringers. What were the details on the car that dynoed at 520 bhp again?

The thing here is that a mustang dyno reads really really low. I know this, they call them heartbrakers. My old car made around 390whp on a mustang and like 450whp on a dynapack (which read a lot higher) Also when you do a dyno test, you get HP to the wheels, not the crank. The advertised hp is always crank hp, not wheel hp after tranny loss. For an awd car to get 400whp on a mustang, it has to be making upwards of 500 crank hp.
Stock STI is rated at 300hp from Subaru, on a Mustang dyno it makes around 215whp. Now I dont know just how much power is lost through the GT-R's transmission, but I'm guessing its probably more than the STI because of all the gadgetry in the GT-R...

RC, I'm just waiting for you to install the APS TT on your car and make 1500rwhp.
Dyno-schmyno? Where did u pull your hp and torque figures out of? A g-max pro through the cigarette lighter?
There has to be a constant somewhere, most reputable tuners have dynos that read relatively accurately.

At least that's how it's pronounced in Japan. There's no "L" sound, they say "R" instead.

That's some awcredible* power! All the hp from your Z would be enough to cover Costa Rica with 2cm layer of it!!

Dastek 4wd dyno, filled with BP Ultimate 102 unleaded, 520 bhp @ 6,617 in fourth gear. Reported as factory stock shipped from Japan to the UK.
