A simple question

Everybody seems to own everyone else in the auto industry. Can someone help me find a complete breakdown of who owns whom and how much of them they own? I hope that made sense.

Edit: go to the corporate websites of car companies they usually have a list.

Yeah, but it must exist somewhere. Everyday I find myself wondering about the structure of specific car companies (today it was toyota, they own lexus and that scion thing). I get tired of looking this stuff up.

GM doesn't own Lotus, and they are the North American distributor of Subaru but they don't actually own them according to their corporate site but Subaru's are all made in the US in old GM plants.
All my sources are corporate websites so I'm pretty Fucking sure they are correct.

if GM doesn't own lotus why the vauxhall vx220 turbo has the same frame as the lotus???
