so im at this gas station, i just got my receipt, i hear this *clank*, i look over and i saw what you see in the pic. i was thinking to myself, you've got to be shitting me. i jumped in my car and caught up and took this pic of this lady. i took this a while ago but the pic is probably new to you guys unless you've seen it on another car site ive posted it on.

These things just happen once in a while. The tube is specially prepared for this, so it breaks off at the right point and only a little fuel leaks out. I still can't get my head round how people manage to forget this though.

haha yeh it does seem impossible. forgeting to put it back in place is one thing but driving off and continuing to drive down the road with it on there is another. i couldnt believe my eyes.

that happened to my friend once when we were on a road trip to my beach house in North Carolina. It was raining really bad and you could barely see on the road and he was in a hurry to fill up his truck and he ran in, paid and ran out totally forgetting the nozzle and when we pulled out the thing popped off. Luckily we noticed and we just stopped and removed it. The attendant just came out and plugged it back in with no problem.
