Here's a site which contains a large FAQ about Harry Potter, answered by the writer herself, JK Rowling. I don't really read all those books, just watched the movies and read the first book, but I think it's really cool how much she knows about the world she created One actually starts believing it actually exists when you read her answers..

Funniest answer on this FAQ page is (IMO):
