Default JW Exclusive : Dundee Firework Display

Hey guys just back from watching the fireworks 8) . Great display as always. Instead of videoing it this year I though i would take some photographs. Conditions were harsh with a strong westerly wind and by the time it had finished my hands had nearly fallen off with the cold . Really good display though and some nice pics . For those of you who dont know about the November 5th firework display (also known as guy fawkes night).
It came about because in 1605 Guy Fawkes tried to blow up the houses of parliament and this is an excuse for nowadays fireworks . It only happens in the UK but some other countries have it for different reasons as in the "Bastille Day" for France.
The display i was watching costed £20, 000 just for 20 minutes of fireworks. There are two big displays like this in Dundee so that would have costed around £40, 000
Also it wasn't just fireworks tonight. Some guy took his Citroen C2 to the top of the Law Hill (Where i was standing) and it had blue neons . Looked really cool so i took a couple of pics. Also on the way back i saw a grey Audi RS6 Avant so i stopped and took some pics .
All in all a great night and hope you guys enjoy the show

Very nice to see firework pictures, I like to ban the flash, the highlighted smoke in the air and if possible, the reflection on water.

Thanks for the pics David

Cheers
David
