heres a thought, so before you are ready to kill me :

the more huge moster super EXT ESV ExtendaCab 4 wheel steering Traffic hogging small car humping SUVs they make the better, the tree hugging enviromentalist will ignore all the 300+ hp cars coming out cause they are too busy whining about how the world will run outta trees and the yellowtail spackle nose warbler seacock seagul will have no where to roost =)
anyone notice this tho, how now they are not even noticing the high power cars being releaesed, cause they are too busing attack suvs?

although I love cars alot I also love trucks and our F-350 Super Crew Dually is a huge black smoke spewing 800 hp turbo diesel monster and it takes a 1.5 car garage space to park it. Its a lot larger than a ugly ass over priced rebadged Yukon Denali XL/Suburban Caddilac escalade esv (you cant have an ext esv) I'd take the Yukon Denali XL over the Caddy anyday and NEVER the H2 (also a Tahoe reskinned) (the only real Hummer is an H1 HUMMER) but the Biggest is the Excursion baby. Before you get pissed at me read my signature for a list of cars.

SUV's are quite simply overweight excessively large vans with seats for those who don't enjoy driving, and really just see driving as a way from A to B. There will never be a good SUV, even when Porsche tried to build a good one.

The new Range Rover is the ultimate SUV the thing has the best interior of anything on the road and it drives like a car. And by the way have you ever driven a Porsche Cayenne Turbo, the thing is better than alot of cars(faster too). And all the people I know that have SUVs use them for a purpose I like to call high amounts of snow and ice on the ground. and everyone I know that has one also have very very nice cars. And trucks are good for towing our cars from house to house.

In Holland nobody uses them for terrain surfaces the only road they see is tarmac.

I stopped reading his post at this point...

Now imagine 2 feet + of snow one morning when you wake up. Since you didnt know, you didnt plan on waking up an xtra freaking hour and a half early to shove. By the time you`r thinking about this you hear the siren of the shoveling track passing by and the 2 feet just went up to 4. You still have about 12ish feet of driveway till you hit that shit. It`s -20°C. I get into my dads 4runner, put it in 4wd and there I`m off without a sweat and a big smile on my face having fun crawling over the wall of snow (in 15 min top). Now I just wished it was diesel so I could run it on biodiesel so the treehugger could spend more time checking the new Enzo (& cie) out

That's the regular excuse, but it's BS because there is no more space in these things than in, let's say, a Volvo V70. The boot of many SUVs, especially when there are more seats than five in it, is tiny!

when there's that much snow I just hook the plow up to the truck and put it in low gear on the transfer case to keep the power under control and shove the snow across the street, or use the snow blower on the front of our tractor and throw it about fifty feet in any direction. It isn't that big of a problem the only problem is the length of the actual driveway.
and now that i have my Evo (Fri. Jan. 9) I'll use that to do actual snow driving. the truck is for towing the older cars that don't see very much if any actual road driving.
